Dolphins put up 31 against the Patriots defense, 34 against the Jets defense, two stupid mistakes from putting over 30 on the Bills when their defense was good. They struggled against the Eagles and the Chiefs but both games were on the road, both games they were dealing with oline injuries, had too many turnovers and were playing with out Achane. The idea that they are somehow some sort of soft finesse team is absurd. Since Ramsey returned the defense is getting hot, if you recall they shut down Mahomes, and they are dominant at home. They only have one road game left all season. So when the Chiefs come into Hard Rock and lose by two scores, I will be back.

Regarding the ravens, the offense actually looks competent. There’s still stretches where we just can’t move the ball and the play calling makes you scratch your head, but they are no longer rushing to the line of scrimmage so they don’t get a delay of game. The passing game is a good step up too. They still have the Roman run game to fall back on when necessary but I have a lot more faith they can throw when necessary. Regarding Lamar’s numbers, he’s getting them down to the red zone quite often. They just run it in instead. He still has a ways to go on the deep ball but if he can start connecting on more of them the offense will be humming.

It's odd how ppl keep wanting to act like they shouldn't be AFC North favorites (even last in the div according to Nick) even when LJ is healthy despite history saying otherwise. Even w LJ injury last year the Bengals barely snuck into 1st in the div. No reason to think Ravens won't be atop the div again next year unless due to major changes/injuries. The rest I agree with. Of course, any year LJ (and majority of key players) are healthy for the post-season is a good opportunity.

I’ve figured it out. Nick attacks any team that is a viable threat to the Chiefs. The lack of respect for Lamar Jackson is CRAZY. He’s been in the league 6yrs, 5yrs as a starter. In that span the most wins are as follows: Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Rodgers, Brady. Name the year Lamar Jackson has had a better offense of supporting cast than those guys?, I’ll wait. Mahomes and Allen have both played more games than him during that period, Allen played 11 more games but only has 4 more wins. To be fair Mahomes played 9 more games and has 10 more wins. Mahomes also walked into having Tyreeq Hill, we see what he’s done for Tua, and of course arguably the greatest tight end ever. Also lets not forget his future HOF coach, is Andy Reid not one of the best offense of minds? Is Eric Bieniemy any good? Not sure but Sam Howell has looked great this year. You like Joe Borrow? Well Lamar owns him. Jalen Hurts is the guy? Well Lamar beat him in the preseason. I could continue to rant but I’ll cut it short. Patiently waiting for Lamar to shut this guy up, and hopefully he has to go through the Chiefs to do it. We don’t want any excuses.
@Snap-Time9 ай бұрын
Exactly. He's too sensitive and emotional. He’s been this way for years though, and I genuinely think it’s because the Patriots and Patriots fans have damaged the core of his soul. Jealousy and desperation has made him who he is today. He wants what Patriots fans had so bad, that the show made a concerted effort to bring in Wildes, a Pats fan, as the new moderator. They knew it create drama and increase ratings. In short, Nick is the way he is because he is so jealous of the Patriots dynasty!

I’m so sick of people excusing Philadelphia’s play because they had three games in 13 days. Everybody forgets that they had three games in 13 days earlier in the season and they won all three. The second game was an overtime game just like the second game in this 13 day stretch. Nobody was saying then that it was so unfair and that Philadelphia was just tired. Furthermore, Philadelphia just came off of a bye week before this 13 day stretch, so they were well rested before the 13 day stretch began. No excuses. Philadelphia just got their butts beat. Well, there is one valid excuse, and that is the Niners are a better team.

Do not sleep on the Dolphins. This team is the most consistent team in the AFC and one bad day by your defense will cost your team that game. The Chiefs and Ravens both have very good defenses but the Chiefs defense has been bad since the bye and the Ravens defense folds here and there. The last thing you want to do is give the Dolphins the 1 seed or let them go into the playoffs hot on offense. I know they lost to the Chiefs but with their current forms, Chiefs ain’t surviving them. Especially with Achane back. The Chiefs constantly strikeout in 3rd and outs. And you cannot trust to win ugly against this team. You ain’t beating them with anything less than 20-24 points. They’re guaranteed to put up 20 on anybody and they can easily be in shootouts scoring over 30. And that defense they have generates plays. Kind of like the Bengals defense, not that great overally but they do generate big plays and force turnovers. And you do not want to give that offense the ball back

Right! Its odd how they talk like the Bengals (or any other AFC North team) are favorites over the Ravens even when LJ is healthy. Its like they only remember the very end of the seasons when he was injured. Last year, even after his injury, Cincy barely took the div at the end and barely won their matchup against Huntley at QB.

Haven't the dolphins beaten the ravens on the road AND home in the past 2 years? Lol keep hating on Miami
@michaelhession21059 ай бұрын
I'm warning you, yes you've beaten the Ravens the last two years which was revenge for all of those spankings that they gave you for the previous 20 years. But this Baltimore team is much better than the ones you faced. And not to mention if thats a SNF game which it's trending to be, that atmosphere will be very tough to handle. If the Dolphins are going to win against Baltimore this year especially at night in December, they're going to have to play a perfect game to win. Why am I saying this? The Ravens are 17-2 at home in primetime under Harbaugh against teams not named the Steelers (Which they are 3-2 against) with an average margin of victory being 13.5 points.

Sometimes the most scariest QBs are well executing backups without tape - but the Bengals really outcoached the Jags at every level. The Bengals made the adjustments needed after the first few drives, added protection to the line and poked the holes in the Jags defense and moved the chains on first down with first reads - that didn't change until near the end of the game. Every player on Bengals offense executed.

@alanmccarthy65229 ай бұрын
@Fier07112 you're correct the debate is if Joe Burrow sat out, would Joe Burrow be healthy now since he wasn't stressing himself and then put himself into a situation where he got hurt, and would have browning not been statistically the worst qb. I think nick nailed it with that and the logic flows. One the Bengals probably would have had a better record, two Joe probably would have been able to move better and not gotten injured. It's why you have back up qbs. I don't know why Bru and others aren't getting that...
@frb52379 ай бұрын
@@Fier07112 The phase of the moon had as much to do with Burrow's wrist injury as playing through the calf did. i.e. none at all. Completely unrelated. If the Ravens win the Super Bowl, the media (excluding their homers both locally and nationally) will give them the same treatment that they gave the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks. And having covered that team as well as this Ravens team, I see a lot of similarities going into the playoffs. If that Bucks team didn't make the Finals that season, Giannis and the entire organization would have been crucified like no NBA team has ever been before. The Ravens right now are in the same spot. If they don't make the Super Bowl, the media will destroy the entire Ravens organization plus Lamar and demand Harbaugh and EDC to be fired. Personally, I hope the Ravens season ends in 2021 Bucks fashion with a ring. It would be the perfect way for Lamar like Giannis before him to finally silence the doubters.

I think the difference is people openly don’t like Lamar for non football reason and it’s ok to. People love Giannis. Nick had a rant on it last year that was ehhhh but Colin covered it well. At the end of the day some people just don’t like there version of Quaterback to look like that. And don’t want to see a guy who looks like that on their tv. Win or lose , it’s not really about football. If they won the superbowl , disney world wouldn’t ask Lamar to say “I’m going to Disney world” it would turn off a significant group of people. Crazy thing is politically he aligned with a that same group because of that unique Florida upbringing. It’s not about football and if you follow Lamar every year there is some very cringe stuff, some of it’s just crazy
@AilmanF2P9 ай бұрын
Giannis while being the best player in the world keep having awful playoffs performances, idk why but every other team clogged the lane and dared Giannis to shoot, the Suns chose to go in a different direction. The biggest knock on Lamar is playoff success, another one and done people will start calling him a playoff bust.
