as I grew up been thru it all. this song reminds me wen I lost my Father and things went south. we used to eat relish without cooking oil. we could not afford to buy Vaseline so Mom would mix diesel and çandle wax so that we could also have shiny skin like other kids. 2012 that's when we had our breakthrough . thank God we are all grown ups now n much thanks to that Widow who stood by us.

Women go through so many hardships in life and society does not give them a break. To all the women going any type of hardship...keep holding on God has a bigger plan for you. To all the men standing by their partners through miscarriages and those who cannot conceive may the good Lord above bless you with other joys of life!

Now I can see the sense of the lyrics. I think Jah Prayzah writes his songs like movies and then thinks of ways to sing the story because this level of story telling is on another level. And the emigration diaspora part connects to many of us who have struggled in life.

A story has five basic but important elements. These five components are: the characters, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the resolution. These essential elements keep the story running smoothly and allow the action to develop in a logical way that the reader can follow. Safe to say, tava paconflict. Mbiya yedu iri kubvuviwa. Great JP!

If one was asked what epitomises authentic African music.. The musical arrangement on this song would easily fit that discription... Pure majic... The mbira, marimba, electric guitar, keyboard etc and those mellow harmonies.. blend in so well.....it is my wish that this song and Hokoyo are played at Grammy one day so that the world will know without a shadow of doubt what real African music sounds like... No disrespect to Roki a very talented musician as well... But this should have gotten a million views in 24hrs first.......

I don't spend a week without listening to this track since it came out, it reverberates with my soul. The most captivating aspect is the beat which samples the age old 'tora huta hwako' a warrior ode in our culture which Mbuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi sang when they prophesied that 'My bones will rise again' and rallied the warriors into the first Chimurenga and their subsequent execution. Surely this is the story of my life, rising falling and rising again stronger than before.

Jah Prayzah is not only a musician but a full package artist, one of the best of this generation. On top of making quality music, he compliments it with top drawer videos to tell the whole story. He has done, he's doing it and there is no indication he's gonna stop in the future. That's the calibre of artists we desire
