For me this song speaks to the current socio-economic affairs in Zimbabwe and a treacherous trying journey ahead for all of us. Remember it was released on the eve of the so called New dispansation when everyone was anticipating a new direction for Zimbabwe. I am not claiming that Jah Prayzah was deliberately singing for the political transition at the time. But the mere coincidence that he released this song in and around the time that Zimbabwe was going through the political change that occcured between 2017 and 2018 tallies well with the prophetic nature of Jah prayzahs songs throughout his career. The song for me is telling Zimbabwe to prepare (kunhonga chakata) for a long tough jouney( 'kukwidza makata" ' kufamba chinhambo' and 'nzira nhema'). The road aheard is so tough and scary that as a religious and pious nation, dispite our prayers and supplications, daily ( Kudira mhamba and kukanda hakata - which interprets as piritual consultations ) It seems the heavens have forgoten us as said in the line "...zvamunenge makafuratira". How many times have we wondered as a country if God still remembers us ? However Jar Prayzah's song leaves us with an element of Hope for our country. The fact that the song potrays the train as continuing to move and forge ahead dispite the challanges, hints to the liklihood of a better future ahead. Chitima hanzi charamba chichiti kweee. Some will give up, some will say we wont be part of it , but Zimbabwe will continue to move on as a country. Hanzi musamise mutambo lets keep grinding and working hard. One day the train will arrive.
