I see a small trend going on hear abt the word Kusvikirwa. Most pple are not too happy abt the word being used to describe the energy levels of Jah. Sorry for the lecture guys but I believe my fellow Zimbos we should start being proud of ourselves. This young man has made me proud to be zimbo by making one of our venac languages cool again. Kusvikirwa is not a negative connotation and should never be used as such. Kusvikirwa describes a phenomenon where a spiritual entity transfugures into a living body. I will refuse that my Shona tradition and culture be called a dark culture in favour of foreign traditions and religions. I hope more Zimbos can join me in this fight.
