Love JW. What a sublime mix of cultures and musical genres and, for me, it works!
I have the album he did with them. He also did an album with the Chinese Dub Orchestra.

I'm a bit confused as to what qualifies as Cultural Appropriation. Considering Jah Wobble is English, isn't this.....?

not if half the performers are Japanese!

hi, yes it was filmed in Stratford in London. But I dont think thats you in the crowd, its another bloke who looks a lot like you. I remember as i was filming it thinking 'that bloke looks like Pete Gibbons, wouldn't it be mad if he was here too!'

Where was this filmed? I went to see them in straford, London. This is exactly as I remember them even clothes etc. Actually I think I can see myself at 3.58 in the audience. I remember that female flute player was kind of cute and always smiling.. :-) good gig.. thanks for putting this up..

I love how when the bass comes in almost every other instrument decreases in amplitude by about 9dB. The bass is taking up ALL the space! It was like that when I saw Solaris live. The bass was all consuming beyond the point of audience (and Jaki Leibzeit's) pain.

Perhaps because the bassist is the main composer? xD

I think the sound engineer who remastered the track are the one to blame. Or maybe this one wasnt remasteted at all, those are the actual live sound levels we're hearing. xD

@@ermitanyo777 In my experience, the live Wobble bass sound is like an earthquake - tuneless and terrifying!

@@periurban that's the idea behind those wobbly basslines, like an earthquake

jah wobbling, the intro is unnecessary. the rest of it is middle-ages wangking. nonetheless, I'd pay no more than 5p!
