Peri peri just hasn’t made it across here yet,never see it anywhere,and chorizo is so much less popular here to,I am guessing a large percentage of Americans have never heard of it.The southern States probably think of Mexican chorizo which is fresh sausage meat,not dried,and tends to be sour tasting as it has lime juice in it.I really like it.I live in the most diverse county in the US,the bough of Queens,NYC,and we can get nearly everything somewhere in this bough,but even here most Spanish /Portuguese food is from South America,or the Caribbean,not from Europe.😊

I do like peri peri flavours. Haven’t had that rice or chicken yet. I had a peri peri chicken pizza from Sainsbury’s today and was less than impressed. Such a lack of topping and flavour.
