Qamar was at his peak in 1975-78. He was an unbelievable stroke maker and the only Pakistani to defeat Geoff Hunt at the British Open. He never paid attention to his fitness, otherwise he would have defeated Jahangir and Hunt in the World Open and won many more British Open championships apart from his solitary 1975 final win.

Great to finally see Qamar Zaman in action - one of the most stylish players ever. A great entertainer on and off the court.

Such control, with the matchsticks that seem to pass for racquets.

Jahangir Khan, at his best during the peak of his career in 1983

They play like 14 year old top juniors these days, but I guess that was the top of the game back then.

@@trinerd Except the fact that Jahangir Khan used to play for almost 2 hours in a single match, not even a world champion has that stamina these days. Also, Jahangir used a wooden racket. Had he used today's rackets, no one even could come close to him. I saw Jahangir myself playing during 90's and he was phenomenal.

Is it just me or was the commentary so much more intelligent and succinct in the old days? Some modern commentary is like overhearing two geezers in the pub!!

Amazing squash but interesting to see how the game has developed tactically also. Very little variation from either of these guys.

Bigger racquet faces and 11 points makes the game a lot faster.
