Definitely a great buy 👍🏾 I can’t really say how long it took me to be able to play at this level but if you stay focused and dedicate time to practicing, you’ll be able to play anything by ear in no time. The logic behind chord progressions really comes down to the melody you’re trying to sing or play. You can make any progression make sense BUT there are some common patterns that you see over and over again. If you listen to any Stevie Wonder music, it’s a bit more difficult to find one of those patterns but his music and melodies are some of the greatest of our time. Number one rule is that there are no rules 👍🏾
