It's because many fighters consider these events a loss of time. Opetaia has (still) the hunger and the genuineness of a beginner, even if he's already in the "Olympus" of the greatest fighters ever. He's such a humble and educated guy. OK, maybe here and there he speaks some bad words out, but this is just part of the character and he's always nice and respectful with anybody. Jay#1.
