I found this video more relatable when I got this weird red...rash thing on my calf last year. It was all itchy, splotchy and, most distressingly, didn't blanche so I was getting a bit freaked out. Mom took me to an urgent care and it turned out to be... ... ... ? Yeah, we never found out what it was. The nurse took one look at it and was like "...Eeew." (not reassuring). Then the doctor took a look at it and was like "...Eeew." (SUPER not reassuring). Fortunately though, the doctor prescribed some allergy meds that cleared up the problem just fine. We still never found out what it was though.

My mom ends up having a similar issue that's more regular. She's an office worker and she got herpes on her face thanks to using a phone that was previously used by a coworker with it. She can't get rid of but it's not visible... most of the time. However when she gets so stressed she's at her limit her body can't suppress it anymore and half of her face looks red and burnt and for a while will look like the Batman Villain Two-Face. The only other time her face looks messed up is when she gets sick from something else and her immune system just decides the Herpes is less important than this new sickness combined with the fact she has a habit of hallucinating when she has a fever she just turns into a nightmare.

I've heard from a medical expert that stress makes this quite a bit worse. The worst thing that happened to me, was I was in a hospital at the time (I don't remember why.) And they told me that I didn't have enough Potassium. I had an IV at the time, and the nurse came in and told me that this was for 15 minutes, ok? I had no idea what she was talking about. But I surely found out soon enough that as it entered my body, it felt like the worst acid in existence was being pumped through my veins. It was extroadinarily painful, and by the time it ended, I was on my hands and knees on the bed, in a very weird position.

Just an FYI, the thing with the ants was just an illustration to help the viewer get in the mindset of “uncomfortable itching and hives all over one’s body.” To my knowledge, Jaiden’s into birds, not bugs.

The same thing happened to me in college stress plus and immune system glitch and I was covered in hives. Bexley kind of come back every once in awhile my face will start swelling and I'll have a bit of a rash but never as bad as it was the first time. First time I ever happened it's centered around my feet so I spent an entire day not knowing what was going on but just walking hurt because my feet were swollen. My friends didn't necessarily understand what's going on they didn't necessarily believe me when like I said I can barely walk until when I was finally able to take my sandals off and my foot just looked destroyed it was at that point we realized something bad was going on and I can take him to the emergency room

I’ve had hives before as well but it ended up turning into a allergic reaction to ibuprofen The way we found out, was that I used Tylenol to calm down the pain many times and never went to the doctor or hospital when it came and went. But then one time I started getting hives and I took ibuprofen to really take out the pain (keep in mind I never took ibuprofen before) but it backfired into me not only having the same thing happen around the end of jaidens video, but it started to puff up my face and I was having tough times breathing or walking. So I had to go to the hospital and have some shots stay in my arm for a while, but I do remember hallucinating a lot

And the worst part is that the situation was probably causing her more stress, turning things into a vicious cycle of stress -> hives -> stress ->hives. I get hives from my dog, but only my dog and no other dog. Its minor though, and he's such a cuddle bug that I won't deny him a home or love over a little bit of itch for five minutes. Can't imagine having it at that level though. yeesh.

I have a skin condition called eczema so waking up the middle of the night from rashes and hives is a normal thing for me. Where ever my skin touches any other skin, heat builds up and I get a heat rash that then causes an eczema flare. It sucks

A friend of mine went through this. She had never had any allergies or issues with her skin. One day she showed me at work that she had a weird rash. By the next day most of her body was covered in these raised angry hives. It took them MONTHS to diagnose her with basically what they told Jaiden: Girl, you’re stressed. In the meantime, this poor woman had to work every day, raise two young kids, and she had to do it all patiently and professionally. She did what she could to keep from sweating because the sweat made it hurt like her skin was being peeled off her body. Like this was her existence 24/7 for months. And she had to deal with doctors who dismissed her agony because of inherent misogyny. I’ve had poison ivy and it made me want to die. I literally do not know how my friend endured this without going insane. And I mean that, I don’t how she didn’t wind up in a ward. I know she wasn’t sleeping. How could she? There was never any relief and there was no promise that anyone would find a solution or if it was a symptom of something deadly. But they finally fixed her up and now she’s alright.

Some months ago i had hives and oh man my body was burning, It was all red and the day after, my entire body became almost purple. I couldn't sleep because even sitting was a torture, obviously i didn't go to school. It was so painful that i almost cried, fortunately i took some painkillers and some days after it got better. Funny story: I'm extremely allergic to coconuts. It was never a problem because they're easy to get around. But this one time I was at a hairdresser and they washed my hair before cutting it. I didn't think anything about it, but suddenly my whole body started burning like it was literally on fire and the pain kept me from breathing right. Turns out that they used coconut shampoo. I'd probably died if the next hospital wasn't like five minutes away because guess what: I didn't have an epipen. I'd never take it with me because I thought I'd never come into a situation like this. Yeah it wasn't too bad, they obviously didn't know and it was kinda my fault. Epipens do be incredible though
