People are taking the little clip where he sarcastically said he doesn't remember what he said and running with that. I will say that Jai's tone and demeanor was at lot less combative and argumentative then we are used to but he def said the same things to her face in a softer way.

He have a small window to come back on top, the biggest mistakes he made was the smoking incident, as much as the viewers seem stupid and love mix up and war they still want you to be professional and the interviewees want someone who they feel comfortable with and can trust.
