As a citizen of Kalyan, I'm impressed with the rapid development on the west side, which is significantly faster compared to 2022-2023. However, when it comes to traffic, I must say it's a familiar challenge. For me, it's almost a railway tradition to expect a small delay before entering the station from any direction. Unfortunately, this delay can range from 4 to 15 minutes due to traffic congestion. I'm hopeful that within the next five years, we'll have the opportunity to use a brand-new, updated station that will alleviate these traffic woes and make our commutes smoother and more efficient.

The under comstruction FoB is lok gram FoB which was demolished in 2019 as it was declared unsafe by IIT bombay. Since 2019 the construction of the new bridge is going on at a snails pace. Daily over 50000 people are risking their life by walking through the railway track, but Railways inspite of the funds being approved are delaying the construction of the bridge. An accident is waiting to happen on this side of kalyan very soon due to mismanagement of Central Ralways, hope someone takes up this issue with the concerned authorities.

Recently konkan railway has done RECT Survey of murbad Ahmednagar railway project. The draft report of RECT survey submitted to central railway by konkan railway on Jan 24.Central railway has submitted RECT survey report to railway board.

Hope this SATIS work gets completed before 2030. The Skywalk should be remodelled to take a pedestrian to Shivaji Chowk and such prominent chowks. Considering how pathetic the station remodelling and SATIS progress is, may be it is now time to ensure that the Metro line is constructed and made operational quickly. In fact, Shri Kaneji has purposely avoided mentioning the completion timelines which he usually does in all his videos.

Currently there is one ROR rail over rail which for goods trains exiting towards electric loco shed and it further merges with kalyan kasara line. This ror crosses kalyan karjat line between kalyan and vithalwadi station.

Kalyan, despite being one of the most important junctions, not only on CR but entire railway network, does not get its due attention. Same with Dombivli, though one of the most crowded and revenue generating stations, it is often neglected. And MRVC adds to this agony. Hope the new govt does some fast tracking of projects.

Beyond Thane all stations are neglected. Only flat cost is increasing but are theses stations worth of that cost ? Public is also cool . So gov is boughter only upto Thane. Smart city is declared but when it will done ? Only declaration not completion .

all this increase in platforms makes no sense unless there is a 3rd bi0directional line built between Kalyan and karjat and between Kalyan and Kasara. the existing two track systems cannot cope with the increase in suburban traffic. ideal would be to have 4 tracks but even a single 3rd bidirectional track can still go a long way in easing the congestion. rush hour is unidirectional ie towards south in morning and towards north in evenings. so 3rd line can be used to segregate suburban and main traffic towards CSTM in the morning and to segregate traffic northwards in the evenings

We understand. Chennai city also suffer by Metro railway. Rain stagnation is the main problem. A few road accidents are not brought to the knowledge of authorities. Police departments do not control the peak hour traffic. But take advantage of traffic bottle necks to get penalty from innocent citizens.
