The Samruddhi Mahamarg or Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway (officially known as Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg) and Maharashtra Expressway-2 (ME-2), is a partially opened 6-lane wide (expandable to 8), 701-km long access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India. Which connects the two capital cities of the state, its capital, Mumbai, and its third-largest and alternate capital city, Nagpur.The project is being led by the state infrastructure arm Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC)

May 1 2025 should be the date on which this expressway should be fully functional. Till then for total 701km quality checks and repairs, way side amenities should be made.

MSRDC declared yesterday that Whole stretch will be opened till September 2024 but I doubt as Connector road to Mumbai Nashik Highway won't be ready till 4-5 months

Thane se aamne jane ko hi 1.5 to 2 hours lag jaega juch na kuch road accident trucks diversions bakwas hai until entry nearby se na ho. Last month it took me 4 hours to reach igatpuri from thane wo padhga pe hi 1 hour ka jam tha ridiculous roads and that nashik highway is full kf potholes worst highway ive seen
