Honestly I think a big part of these games dying is also due to the fact we are all growing up. Jailbreak constant updates are great they keep lots of nostalgia in here to ogs. But 7 years like we all grew up on jailbreak and all things must come to an end

This video makes me emotional thinking that I’ve played this game ever since January of 2020 and the nostalgia hit hard. I don’t know if it’s true that they wills top updating jailbreak but I have many ideas that may work! I'm a BETA Jailbreak player, and I think it's safe to say that the rivalry that these 2 games had was unlike anything seen before or after 2017-2019 The dynamic that games had back then was totally different compared to now, and I think it's safe to say that both games have reached the end of their lifespans Jailbreak had constant updates and was pretty much roblox's hegemon for a while, even the devs admit that they never expected this much growth from JB in such a short amount of time Mad City was pretty much JB but with a couple of twists, and meant for players who wanted a bit more variety for robberies an teams(the only robberies in JB back then were the Cargo Train, Museum, Bank and Jewelry Store, and Mad City had the superhero team) I still remember being a stupid 11-year old watching this war go wild in all sorts of ways Ironically it's fair to say that this conflict was a draw, as both games have slowed down considerably Looking back, I think we've all grown up, and in the future, we might look back on both games with a hint of nostalgia...

People like you are the ones who hated the chapter 1 fans for no reason. It wasn't nostalgia. Ch 1 has a completely different vibe and feel than ch 2. Ch 1 is more cartoony and the combat is different. Ch 2 is more modern with very forgiving combat. (You die nothing really happens) There's also a lot more small details. Nostalgia is a small part of it.

Ok, so a while back I pitched the idea of doing an idea of custom robberies that are set at a certain difficulty like Geometry Dash. If you and your crew complete a lot of the hardest robberies you can get a lot more cash or exclusive rewards, and you can create your own custom custom robbery that gets popular and gives you some cash per completion. The reason why I say this is, well, Geometry Dash itself truly ran out of things to add 8 years ago; people were able to make almost any kind of level at that point, so the community took over and now it is one of the most popular games.

The main reason why I stopped playing Mad City is because of the devs' ridiculous decision to remove the option for villains to change their outfits. I have put together villain outfits for mad city because I loved roleplaying as one. It was bad enough that they kept revamping and nerfing the superpowers but removing the option to change into custom clothing was the final nail to the coffin for me.

I will always love Mad City. I played Jailbreak once or twice and I never really cared for it. I just miss when they had cool holiday updates and bosses. 😢I really struggled with the Christmas boss but I had the time of my life. I was so sad when they didn't have a boss last year. 😿

Hey! I don't know why people misunderstood what they said. Jailbreak won't stop updating, they will still do the seasons, they just won't add new things every month. They haven't been adding monthly stuff for like half a year already.

As a OG Mad City player that still plays today i can say that mad city is prob not coming back. Our biggest creator "Degree" quit Mad City AND KZbin and half of the dev team quit so if mad city does uptade we wont have that many BIG creators to make vids about the game

So Mad City will still update but they haven’t done it since almost 2 months now. Maybe Mad City isn’t updating bc they are working on an live event but who knows . I still remember the times where mad city was a game that my brother and me could play all day…now it’s not like that anymore . I’d really like seeing Mad City be again a game that was so much fun to play . Jailbreak was so much fun to play back then aswell…the times where they’d do weekly updates just to compete against Mad City. I miss the old day but everything has to come to an end !

Jailbreak wont stop updating! The developers said they will just stop updating jailbreak every new month. Updates could be released after 2 months or 5 Months

The UI is CH2 is better to me and the map is pretty much the same just shifted around. What I really miss is the feel of the gameplay. The new movement and shooting feels way sloppier and clunky. Plus I kinda miss the locked camera, I liked that tbh.

i think none of them lost to each other. they lost to the changing times. Jailbreak changed the way games were made, and pushed the cops and robbers genre of roblox to new leves of design, creativity and effort. Mad city came in and helped push jailbreak with it to new heights, but in the end they both lost their edge on the general platform because of new games, trends and people tend to follow the trend like sheep. Mad city lost a lot to chapter two but none of them remained on top after other games started topping the charts instead.
