As an alcoholic I can honestly say that every decision I made whilst being drunk was a bad decision, never turned out good. As of today, I am 95 days sober. Sobriety is the best decision I've made in the last 12 years.

Good for both of you. I never have been an alcoholic. However I am willing to point out alcohol is just like hardcore drugs. It's very easy to make a habit or addiction out of and very tough to quit. I honor those who go sober and stay sober. Congrats to both of you.

Why does a drunk person always respond with “two drinks” when they’re asked how much alcohol they’ve consumed? lol
@Legendofthetim

So when in court when they’re accused of “multiple drinks” during there incident, they can try and claim the bare minimum. If they answer two drinks they’ve had much more.

Because alot of people can go to the bar and have two drinks and be fine to drive, or blow below .08, so they think they can use that to their benefit. But the amount of drinks it takes someone to get drunk depends on their bodies, so whether they say they had one drink or fifteen, they’re still getting questioned at the least if they’re being sketchy.

@donald8354 It can be mentally draining. I've had to work in many behavioral health facilities and psych wards. I was just there installing and reinstalling the cameras, but I was around them and talked with some of them every single day. It can be funny at times, but then some days I'd go home and even though it wasn't a bad day at work, I would feel kind of shitty/depressed.

I really hope he was able to help that man turn his life around. I hate to say it though but I don't think he did. I'm a retired corrections officer from TDCJ, and I've heard hundreds and hundreds of the same lines from inmates. That one was a very slick and manipulative con artist. After you've been exposed to con artists 12 hours per day, every work day, you learn to recognize them for what they are. On a positive note about that, out of the thousands of inmates I've worked around, there were a few that I know actually reformed and probably will never commit another crime in their lives. But those are few and far between, that's the sad thing.

I got beat up by the Salt Lake Sheriff's jailer. I was wearing the shackles and cuff s. Just returned from court, and the judge got mad at the deputies for my rough treatment. I only had a broken nose from my face meeting the brick wall! My dad was an officer and good friends with the Sheriff, who watched the videos and terminated several jailers with in a week! I went on to become an officer myself. There are bad cops out there! Stay strong and know your rights!!

These officer’s are really amazing. They have the people skills to do the job the right way. They work so hard, but yet make the time to try and remember that these are humans who make mistakes. No matter how many bad officers are out there I choose to believe more are good and here to help the community. I am a healthcare worker and the empathy and true concern for the arrested shows me that these men and women in this show are in the right field. If the ever wanted to change careers into healthcare I would hire them in a second. Good job!

It's even sadder to see just how poor the U.S (And Many parts of Europe) are at dealing with violent crime & violent criminals. All the prisons/arrests do is keep the cycle going. In the Middle East in places like Saudi Arabia or the UAE there are no such things as drug dealers, gangs, serial killers, burglary etc because people are terrified of the law. This is a concept that Americans and Europeans are still unable to grasp.
