I grew up listening to Jaime when I was 8 years old and loved his music. He was very inspiring to me so I learned how to play the accordion. Amadeo Flores of Alice Texas was my teacher and showed me the ropes of all the different keys. I give credit to Jaime and Amadeo for help us want to learn the accordion. I'm 39 now so it's been a journey. I hope your future in the conjunto industry continues well. Awesome new song and congratulations from Tony Benavides III Corpus Christi Tx.

Jamie played in Victoria Texas for a Xmas dance. Before the show ended he let my nephew play his red white and blue accordion on stage with the band. It was great. My Neffew ( Frank Salazar Jr.) now plays the accordion with grupo ASG 2 and he is awesome. Btw Neffew was about 15 years old at the time. Thanks again Jamie.

Wow I really love this song, I'veheard it a few times now since I first heard it last night on super tejano. Here's what I wrote: Jaime for many years playing Cojunto Tejano has so much talent and passion. And NOW as a solo and some obvious voice maturing and fine tuning he sounds very cool. This easy going melody song is really danceable with fun arrangements a la cumbia style, but what caught me here was the fresh interpretation Jaime is giving it. Hope to hear more of his new approach!

In my opinion I think Conjunto Oro/Un Nuevo Oro suck except for like 3-4 songs. When I heard this song on the radio I was certain it was Oro and thought Wow that makes 5 good songs for them. I was surprised when I found it was JDA.

I heard Conjunto Oro in several interviews mention how they were influenced and inspired by the music of Jaime de Anda. As has happened to many generations of Texan musicians, it is part of leaving a mark, as JDA continues doing.

Jaime its a great song but it lacks more accordion in my opinion it's very simple like not your way of playing it's very very simple I learned the song on the accordion and bajoquinto in 30 minutes I guess you wanted the lyrics and vocals to really SHINE MORE THAN the Music but dont get me wrong that's a Grammy award winning song better than when you were with los chamacos recent your playing new stuff now I understand what your doing the song beautiful simple and beautiful you've done it all so I understand
