If you watched him at UCLA, it was obvious his skill set would translate well to the pro level. Probably would've been a lottery pick if it weren't for his age. Most NBA teams are still afraid to take chances on players who are slightly older even if they're more NBA ready. I think he could be a slightly lesser Brandon Roy calibre player but without the degenerative knee issues.

Good analysis but no, he can be much better than Brandon Roy. They put a cap on Jimmy’s abilities, Bam’s, Wade’s. You should know better than to try to find this kids ceiling, he’s barely even attempted creating his own shot yet. High IQ player, makes the right play Great passer Soft touch around the rim Great finisher Plays through contact Great hops, good rebounder Impeccable footwork Tough physical defense Unselfish and disciplined I beleive he can be and will be a top 10 player one day personally

Jaquez doesn't seem like the kind of player who is just happy to be in the league so he can bang Instagram models. Plus, Miami is arguably the best team to be in as far as player development.
