To be honest I have to say that there is a bunch of well written and complex characters who just make you think: Fuck! George is a genius(no matter how much I hate him for turn us into his worshippers, the man is good doing his job) The best examples that come to my mind are Theon, Daenerys, Tyrion and Stannis(a very special one considering he has no POV chapters). Those are so much more rich characters is just that we all love to read Jaime cause he is fun to read and cause he is taking the path we all want to be taken by him.

This video's made me realize Jaime's going to die. I think he'll come full circle and redeem his public image by saving King's Landing somehow--probably something involving the casks of wildfire still underneath the city. Makes me sad because he's my favorite. Such a complex character, but underneath it all I think he's one of the good ones.

Jamie is a lot different in the book, more likable. He basically told Cersei to fuck off and went on his own path. The producers changed his character drastically the moment he raped Cersei. In the book he has already redeemed himself, in the show he is nothing but a puppet.

You should've been paid for this, it's far better than anything HBO has ever put out. If HBO showed this as a promotional clip and kept the music since The Leftovers is theirs as well, and they used a higher quality clip for the scene when Jaimie is talking to Ned and cleaned up the audio it would be absolutely perfect 👌

Jaime has a tough life and George Martin had some pretty good character development when writing him. I think George punishes him for his good looks. I was happy when he Mrycella finally revealed that she knew he was her father.

So many fans of the books had spent *years* waiting for the show to catch up, because GRRM did such a fantastic job of making you dislike then hate him, only to eventually let you understand him and his actions in the long run. You'd think people would take it as a lesson to heart - to not judge people by the rumors surrounding them, not accept hearsay as the absolute truth of a matter. Fat chance on that, though.
