Man every once in awhile, I'll come back to this video and watch it, its just simply breath taking. I consider it to be the greatest dancing routine ever put together and beautifully danced too. I can't possibly fathom the idea of someone having such a talent to be able to choreograph such a masterpiece, its almost unreal.

Perhaps, this dance routine is timeless and considered as one of the best in the history of sytycd because of how it is beautifully directed. The camera is mesmerizing and hallucinatory. It only takes 4 cuts from the onset up to the ending. The close up of Hok and as it slowly fades out into a long shot is where all the magic begins. 0:15 onwards is a long take. The camera dances with them. We are dancing with them. This is probably one of a kind moments when we are not just passively watching, we became part of the routine. Like Hok, we are a hummingbird. Wade Robson is truly a genius.

This is my fave routine of ALL the Sytycd seasons.....and I've watched them all....there have been many amazing and moving routines, but to me, this was by FAR the most culturally, and physically creative. Easily the best routine. ever.

This was pure inspiration and artistry. Wade was a painter animated by the colors of Hok’s and Jaime’s emitting essence. He internalized and refracted the most exemplary and distinguishing concepts of their movement and united them into an aesthetic that was both unique and universal. As a collective, their art articulated the realm of the kinesthetic and material and unveiled the omnipresence of the existential, the spiritual- merging both into ontological manifestation. The gnostic beauty of this piece allowed us to witness the primordial, the contemporary, and the hereafter all at once. It felt grounded and mystical, coherent and boundless. Absolutely stunning. Hok's birdlike movements in his head and hands are amazing, and Jaimie's lean, florid lines are so compelling. It inspires and enthuses me every time a watch this. They are both such utterly talented dances, and the choreographer, had a moment of genius when he conceived this dance. "Hummingbird and Flower" choreographed by Wade Robson won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography in 2008.

@hershyhun1 I remember he left to do a Cirque du Soleil show at one point. Last time he choreographed for the show was last season when he did the first big group number. Hope they'll have him back. He's done choreo for every single season, except for the first one.
