Great video thank you. I didn’t realise the grain line could differ so much from the selvedge and wouldn’t have thought to measure it. X

Thank you Maureen. It’s surprising when you line the pattern pieces up by measuring compared to doing it by eye how much difference there can be. Happy sewing 😊

Thank you Pauline and apologies for my delay in replying. Here's a link to my Jaimie Kits - If you also take a look at the printed cottons on my website, I can make you up a kit in any of these. Drop me an email at hello@flyingbobbins.com and I'll be happy to help. All the best, Liz www.flyingbobbins.com/collections/pyjama-making-kits

The front leg pattern was towards the folded side of the cloth. When that pattern was cut through, what happened to the folded side on the front leg pattern?
@FlyingBobbinsTutorials3 жыл бұрын
Hello. Both leg pieces are cut out all the way round through the two layers of folded fabric. That gives you one pair of back legs and one pair of front legs. Have fun making your PJs 😁

Are you cutting the fabric on the floor or the dinning table

On my dining table xx

Hello. I have a pair of steel shears from a family company in Sheffield. I bought them when I was at university in 1999!! So a few years ago! 😉. The company no longer exists but you could find similar. They are wonderful and will last me a lifetime. Thank you for watching. Liz x
