Welcome to Our New Travel Vlog from Jaisalmer also known as the Golden city of India. Jaisalmer District is the largest district in Rajasthan not only in terms of area but also grand in terms of experience, culture and beauty.
We had an epic experience in the Thar Desert which is also known as "The Great India Desert", it’s the world’s 20th largest desert and the biggest desert in India and it is the most populated desert on the planet. Thar Desert is believed to be the most civilised desert in the world. Do you know why?
The reason is that out of all the world’s deserts, the Thar has roads, infrastructure and human settlements dating back to thousands of years. In fact, some studies suggest that the civilization thrived in the Thar region about 50000 years ago.
We truly had a wonderful Camping experience near Sam Sand Dunes. Sam sand dunes is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Jaisalmer, known for breath taking expanse of the unbroken sand dunes, here you will witness magical view of the Desert Sunset and Sunrise surrounded by the golden sands of the Thar desert. If you are planning to visit Jaisalmer then you must see this video and plan an unforgettable experience.
We stayed in Bhati Desert Camp, which an ideal gateway for your desert experience. Bhati Desert Camp was nice, clean; location is perfect as it’s in Sam Village, very near to the Desert safari location. The staffs were extremely courteous and helpful towards us. They provided us complete package which included Stay in Deluxe Tent, Breakfast, Evening Tea & Snack, Gala dinner, DJ & Rajasthani cultural program and most the important Desert safari (Jeep safari and camel ride) and these activities you must not miss for memorable experience. For this entire experience and stay we paid Rs.5,500 (inclusive taxes).
I am also thankful to them as they provided us an early check-in for 6:00am as we reached here from Bikaner very early in morning and they didn't charged us for early check-in.

Best time to visit Jaisalmer is November to March (winter months) as the maximum temperature may doesn't go beyond 28.8°C, and summers here can be extremely hot and humid.
We travelled by bus in night from Bikaner to Jaisalmer (to see our journey Check-out our last vlog from Bikaner playlist) . If you are coming from Delhi to Jaisalmer distance is around 760.9 km around 14hrs. of drive by road. Direct trains from Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur can be availed to reach Jaisalmer. The nearest airport to Jaisalmer is Jodhpur airport which is situated at a distance of around 275 kilometers.
Mr. Jansar Bhai was the Jeep Driver who took us for the desert safari, he was an experienced driver and was respectful & polite towards us (opinion may vary person to person; you may first speak with him over the phone before booking). He can be contacted at [phone].

Hanuman circle main city ka center Jahan bus apko drop karti h wahan se Sam village ( yehi area h jahan desert camps h and main desert safari ka area "Sam sand dunes" yehi se pass h) yeh around 33km h (30minutes by car) , ap directly ja k b book Kar sakte , wahan aas pas h alag alag desert camps (agar ap apni gadi se h toh ap explore Kar sakte h easily) , but peak season me ja rahe toh I would suggest ki ap pehle hi booking karva k Jaye kyunki us time bahut tourist ate h or rates b high hote h

Alag se jeep safari/camel safari Rs.500-800 per person (for each activity) ka cost rahet h depending on season , peak season me or b todha mehnga ho Sakta , mene description ek number dia h jeep safari service provider ka , jinhone Hume ghumay tha ap unko call b Kar k puch sakte , I hope he will provide good rates or package .
