This theme would have fitted if the guards had a maximum threat level, they would send in armored hellcat cruisers and only ranged infantry and other heavy duty stuff and maybe Blast bots

there should have been three versions of the theme light mode when you kill a civi or hit a guard which would be like the normal one but calmer moderate mode when you shoot a guard would be normal....THIS however is what plays when you turn dark jak in the city each mode has a specific reaction low level they use stun guns and you die and restart just outside the prison moderate they use guns and stun when you die you restart at nearest safe point like normal max level the send all yellow gaurds on foot the armored hell cat cruisers all guns 3 blast bots to each section of the city ad the turbo canons come out regardless of being in a vehicle or not and possible a rare guard in a titan mech...that would have been dope

This could've been used for the Metal Head invasion. Have the regular guard theme beat but remixed to hammer home the seriousness of it all. The sting at the beginning would've been perfect. When you walk out of Krew's bar and see everything, that sting would've basically been "Things just got a LOT worse"

Seems like the police system were gonna have tiers much like GTA. First offense: Red Guards only Fighting them off: Red and Yellow Guards Fighting them for too long: Hellcat cruisers, blast bots, and both yellow and red guards (with jetpacks)

Maybe this should have been used in all Krimzon Guard missions like the seal piece one, and the original should have only been used when you choose to fight the Guards randomly. That probably would have been better.

My wanted level system 1 Kg logo: Normal KG chase 2 Kg logos: hellcat cruisers and bike cruisers are called in 3 Kg logos:Normal KG deathbots are called 4 kg logos:hellcat cruisers are now called in with the miniguns on them (Someone else continue this)

Not to be "that guy" six years later, but I suppose there might be some people that don't realise this is technically used. It's the approved version that Josh brought to Naughty Dog, before they made a mix that was suitable for the PS2 and the way the game plays music with its sound processor.

Kingdom Hearts Insider has a game rip of the entire TPL soundtrack with the last cutscene, but they didn't cut out the dialogue.

Many years late, but all of the cutscene music was included in the 2019 official soundtrack release that came with the limited collector's edition of TPL. DonkeyPlanet has thankfully uploaded the soundtrack from that release to his youtube channel.

The final version of this dropped the screech of the electric guitar in favor of a 'drum roll' intro and they deepened the pitch and I believe slowed it down just a tad (might be mistaken).

The speed and even the pitch are unaltered. The intro is diferent but they only changed the volume of some of the instruments i think. The final version is more drum heavy and the strings get a back seat

Not that its higher quality and the original! The in-game version of this was made *after* this version due to space, music quality had to be downsampled.
