It’s been 15 years now since Jak 3 came out. There hasn’t been a Jak 4 yet, even though Jak X and TLF came out. I remember reading the series was on hiatus. But at this point, I don’t think Naughty Dog should bother making another Jak and Daxter game. Not only do I think it would not be good, but the voice actor for Samos has passed on.

Very few people liked it, and even worse, very few people played it! There are four huge things that destroyed the game for most people. 1) The story contradicts what was established in Jak 1-3 2) Camera is flat-out broken 3) They removed Dark/Light Jak, which goes back to my first point and makes the game much less fun 4)WHY would they put it on psp, ps2, and not ps3? Fans have been begging for a Jak game on ps3 for years!

Veger was nominated as Kliever's sidekick, that's the REAL punishment, Veger solves the mentally taxing problems (while making sure that he isn't on the menu) and Kliever does the fighting. I can see "Vegan" and Daxter having a fight in that scenario.

All time favorite game series ever. Saddest ending as well. Now, games just dont deliver like the old gen games. Its all about the terrible next gen games now that just leave you with no story and multiplayer. Before mass multiplayer games, it was all about the single player experience and story. Now, there arent any games with good single player stories.

Josh Lewis Actually I can think of a few, the best multiplayer campaign ones usually being the games that have been modded to be able to do so. Back in early 2000's PC gaming days it was as simple as replacing one line of text or simply moving the singleplayer maps into the multiplayer folder and away you go. Games like No One Lives Forever 2, Contract Jack, Rune, Unreal Gold(which could do coop even with just the games maps inserted into Unreal Tournament).

Monkey Bomb And memorable character's who's personalities were unique and could actually have fun playing as. Not just standing around in a cutscene making simple decisions on what to do next while gazing in aw at how real they look 4 feet away from a plasma TV like some interactive film. No offensive to Mass Effect, but it's become an over-used PlayStation cliche now. ;)

Personally I really want to see some real Spyro built around the stuff the original trilogy was known for. Kind of sad Insomniac is currently focused on Spider-Man. everyone thought that Jak and Daxter got sent to the future but it was the past and the little kid from Jak 2 was jack as a child and at the end of jak 2 kid Jak got sent into the future to have a normal life and future Jack stayed in the past and because jack changed his name to Mar at the end all of his battles become ledendary and he becomes the great Mar. Phew... that was alot of writing. :)

I though one time Jak could have an adventure where he goes back to the old world to deal with bigger problems than Gold and Maia (There was apparently a war between Metal Heads and ppl that happened right after Jak left to the future), and it would kind of be like Infamous, where you pick slowly decide how the game playsout ( between Guns or Eco).

They didn't. Naughty Dog is owned by Sony so Sony holds the rights. They've been pawning the games off to lesser studios because nobody at Naughty Dog is interested in doing Jak 4 at this point in time. May happen in the future though.

The ending of this game shows an eerie likelihood of an all but ended series. Jak 4 would work okay if it weren't for a strange game like Jak X (the storyline I mean), but would still be difficult... and difficult as it may seem, if they can strike something, it would probably be fantastic. But Naughty Dog gave up on (sold?) Jak though didn't they? It was a blast when PS2 1st came along, so the devil may cry bout alot of these rich adventure hero stories, but at least we not 4get them.
