Thanks for the review on the translator. I decided to order it. I was confused cuz I thought that the code was working on the main website but then I realize it's an Amazon code. You can get 10% off with the factory and no shipping or tax charges but it's still more expensive than Amazon. At least when you have prime. I've used Google translate in Mexico and found it to be only okay even on the latest pixel phone. On my upcoming trip to Thailand this will be very handy. And it looks like you can add a Sim card later when the service runs out or just use Wi-Fi which can be a problem in some places. I'm enjoying the video. Both Indonesia and Malaysia are on my list of places to visit once I'm down in that area full-time.

Hello sir, the code is also available on official website. 🥰

Well they shipped it really fast through Amazon. So far I like it. It's small, has a USB C charging cord so compatible with my phone and seems to work well except for the photo translate. I didn't have good success with that but my lighting wasn't real good either. A feature they need to add is being able to delete certain phrases right now the only thing I saw was delete all. I was thinking that it would be nice to have some English to Thai phrases to use offline since they don't have a Thai database for offline yet. It took me awhile to figure out how to change the shortcut statement, and it seems you can only have one of those. Maybe add the ability for a few more? All in all it's a pretty neat package for the price. Thanks for the tip.

Isn't it funny, we used to consider Jakarta to be a dirty third world slum. Look at the amazing shopping complexes and the price of apartments and the quality of the transport systems. Crossing guards to help you safely cross the road. Friendly locals who are quick to assist you and with a smile. Living in such places you are missing nothing except the high living expenses and violence. In America today everything is falling apart. Businesses are telling workers to work from home because it is too dangerous to travel to work. Police Officers are being assaulted in the streets. Makes you wonder when the so-called third world countries are now so far in advance in so many ways and so much cheaper to live in. Makes you wonder...

Enjoyed the vlog but have one important question regarding the translator .Can it operate in a noisy bar for example? Most translators can't work correctly.

I suspect you'd have to talk loud and directly into it but I'll keep using it and let you know.
