You are the FIRST person (at least that I've seen) recommending a heat resistant glove when using high heat on hair - FABULOUS!! That alone was worth me watching...BUT, I also loved your hair heat tolerance test and all four curling methods. Thanks - SUPER tutorial!!

Thank you so much I searched high and low for a detailed YT vid on how to curl a synthetic wig. I accidentally straightened part of my wig and it lost its beautiful beach wave curl pattern. I was up all night determined trying to curl it. I found yours and two others that helped. Yours showed various ways, not just one which I appreciate bcz I can pick which technique is easiest and practical for me. I don't have the time to boil the hair and let it sit overnight. I have a steamer, heating tools, duck clips, bobby pins, and soft rods. I'll put setting papers on the ends so they'll lay flat on the rods. Thanks again!

Do you plan on making a tutorial on de-wefting a wig or adding foam inside for spikes and such in the future? Love watching your videos,they help alot with my wigstyling. ^^

What heat with the blow dryer?

I use mine on the hottest setting but this depends on your blow dryer and the wig fibers :D

Ich will für eines meiner Cosplay die Wig neu machen, und diesmal sehr viel besser, mit einer Lace Front. Sie soll kurz und gewellt bzw gelockt sein, und dass auch schon am Ansatz (bzw so weit oben wie möglich). Ich hab keine Ahnung von Lace Fronts, und ich bin kurz davor eine glatte zu kaufen, aber weiß nicht ob man sie vom Ansatz aus gut locken könnte. :/ Du würdest mir mit einer Antwort sehr helfen.

Hi, das kann man definitiv, aber dafür würde ich dann heißwickler oder lockenwickler verwenden damit du eng an den ansatz kommst. Die wickler müssen dann ganz straff bis zum Ansatz gewickelt werden. Wenn du normale wickler nimmst kannst du die gesamte perücke danach in einen topf mit kochendem wasser tauchen (ca. 3-5sek) und anschließen schock-kühlen in kaltem wasser. Hier brauchst du je nach dicke der Perücke natürlich reichlich wickler um alle haare einzudrehen. Auf YT findest du sicherlich reichlich videos zur entsprechenden technick, also wie du die haare abteilen musst etc. Bei heißwicklern kannst du einfach nach und nach arbeiten und die fertigen locken wegstecken, das wäre evtl. einsteigerfreundlicher. hab ich aber selbst noch nicht probiert.
