Honestly I would *love* a podcast series of Jake and Amir, but in-character the whole time. Obviously not super feasible since there's only so much fucked-up stuff they can come up with for Amir (or Insecure Jake) to say before repeating themselves and filling a whole episode of a podcast with it on a weekly or even monthly basis is almost certainly asking too much, but I *would* enjoy it, hypothetically. I mean, it might work as a limited series, maybe an actual "podcast ideas" series of podcasts where it's just Amir forcing Jake to join him in attempting a podcast that's obviously a rip off of another Podcast, so it's like, one part J&A, one part spoof series for podcasts. At this point, there are certainly enough genres of podcast to get several episodes (off the top of my head, there's True Crime, Historical/Documentary, Interview, Horror/Literature Dramatic Reading, Narrative/Internet Age Radio Play, Serious Advice, Comedy Advice, Fancast*, Tabletop RPG Live Play, Political Commentary, Quiz Show, Niche Hobbyist/Specialist Chitchat, and Rifftrax Knockoff). *Fancasts can probably be split into a few sub-genres, themselves, as you've got Industry Fancasts that cover both ongoing and past topics (lots of sports, pro wrestling, and music podcasts do this), News Fancasts (covering the latest episode/event/recent news specifically), and Watch-Along Fancasts (almost always covering either concluded or long-running TV series, where they watch one episode a week and then comment on it).
