In this episode we uncover stories from Jake’s estate growing up and how that helped shape him into who he is today, inevitably impacting the style and lyrical content of his music. Jake talks about his earliest memories growing up on Clifton estate and how they shaped his music taste. He talks about some of his happier memories as well as opening up about more difficult periods of his early years. We also hear when Jake first discovered music in Nottingham and some of the characters from his childhood he remembers as being particularly inspirational for his own music journey.
