As a former Torontoite (Torontonian? Tronna Guy? Whatever) I can one hundred percent attest to what Will is saying. I remember flying from LA to Toronto in the middle of winter one year; LA was going through a winter heatwave; just gorgeous out, pool side weather. Toronto? Stark. Grey. Covered in snow. It was like flying into a city-sized gulag.

You're an amazing actor Jake! - great interview by awesome people who know how to interview. Oh and I was legally blind too without my glasses/contacts...... In 2007 (I was 35) I got Verisyse implant surgery done on both eyes - BEST thing ever! My eye specialist in Pennsylvania did one eye at a time and got me to 20/40 without needing to wear contacts or glasses until I hit the age of 45. Now I wear progressives but I'm still super happy. At some point if/when I get cataracts - we all eventually need this surgery, that surgery will be covered by Medicare (I'm almost 56 now). Thank goodness because Verisyse cost me about 7,000 at the time for both eyes. Now it's probably way over 10,000 - well worth every penny and we paid in cash. I worked for the state at time and they covered 500 bucks and eye. We paid the rest. So, if you're reading this, check out this surgery. I'm sure in California they're reputable eye specialists who do this surgery and if not, check out Dr. David Armesto at Armesto Associates. I highly recommend!

One of my favourite actors, easily, and you guys didn't even mention Brokeback Mountain, a TRUE MASTERPICE of cinema (though FOR SURE, his portrayal in Night Crawlers, was HAUNTINGLY amazing!)... Wasn't Jason's brother a competitive BMXer? I met him once in Sherman Oaks. My uncle (dad's cousin, technically) used to direct Jason. 😊 He adored him.
