Like I remember watching it live, and I have been watching UFC forever now, and I remember seeing this and for a moment I was like "wait, what is going on? Is this a real fight? This looks odd. Is that Jake Gyllenhaal? Is that for a movie or something or is this a fake fight?" 😂😂😂 now imagine if they surprised someone who regularly watches UFC like this, what happens when most of the crowd is mainly only there for guys like McGregor, Jones, Gaethje, Izzy, Pereira or whoever. So I think many people really thought (atleast for a moment) that this is maybe a real thing, and some probably just went with the flow 😂

I think the John Wick series is the best recent example of "fake fights" done right, but that's only because Reeves & Co actually put in the work ahead of time and focus on nailing as many small details as possible, instead of relying solely on editing and cgi to fill in all the gaps.
