We live in an amazing time for music thanks to people like Jake HL, thanks for the shot of inspiration mate 🤘

after 20 years or more of guitar backlash and Metal being canceled by the controlled media I'm not sure what is so fascinating about the times we are living in. This material has been overdue for decades. the world in general have fallen several decades behind.

The Helix Nebula's Meridian EP is one of the most famous and liked instrumental djent/modern prog albums, and this is basically a continuation of it, I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention.

Oh Jake. I've been a Plini fan for a couple of years now, same goes for Helix Nebula. Yet somehow, I have completely missed your release until today! Thank you for this fine piece of art! Sure, I get and share the joy of the Helix Nebula vibes, but there's much other stuff in there, too, that I appreciate! Tell me, who played the bass on this record? Was it Simon? I so enjoyed that lengthy bass solo section in Another World. Was that tracked with a fretless bass? That was juicy, dude! Thank you very much for this release!
@JakeHowsamLowe3 жыл бұрын
I played bass on all of it except another world which was my good friend Callum Eggins! Thank you so much. Don’t stress I think a lot of people missed this haha.

@@JakeHowsamLowe I really enjoy your EP! I have listened to it back and forth all week. Nice job on the guitars and the bass! I enjoy the bass section on Another World very, very much, being a bass player myself

Love your music dude I can't believe i just realized you're the same person playing for Plini and Helix Nebula, you're awesome. Anyway, why won't you upload the tracks individually to know which one was favored by your audience ?
@bhargavsharma0075 жыл бұрын
We've done a full EP stream for our EP too. It's much easier to keep a listener's focus in one full stretch (while they're working in the background, for example), compared to hoping they'll click through to the next song after each one ends. KZbin Music already lets users listen to single tracks on KZbin. Besides, analytics for individual tracks is already available in most streaming platforms.

whomever td'd this... can I ask why? If you actually play guitar or compose I'm asking about specifics here... are the changes too abrupt for you or something like that? If it's just BS to td someone, then don't waste my time please.
@testrabbit3 жыл бұрын
no one has explained the TDs yet too me. I understand that someone mightn't like the style or something like that, but clearly you're in possession of incredibly sick musical skill. I really want to know why they don't appreciate that alone... I've heard so much cool stuff over last couple years, different styles of music, just everything, explosions of creativity... and I enjoy it all so much. You're truly something to be grateful for in this often seemingly bleak existence. I'm thankful for you quitting your "day job" and making this 24/7 gig.
