Hey buddy! These things just came in! They are in fact, full on corded replacements. Very powerful, more than enough for ANY paint correction, or removal for that matter if needed. Much, much more than I anticipated. Milwaukee definitely did their homework and it shows! What a great machine to add to the collection. For those reading, here are some key tips for powering these devices with reliability, after endless personal experience with high powered cordless devices. Buy extra batteries if you are using this often. At least 3-4 if you plan on using it regularly. More if daily. I bought 6, and 6 chargers. 4 of them are 3 amp chargers, two 6a units for the occasional use in an "emergency". Lower charge rates equal lower temps, and extends life. Having more batteries allows a short rest and cool down time, before recharge. It also allows for shallower discharges(swap it out after it gets to 1 bar and NOT below), which greatly improves battery life and cycle count, and more than pays for the cost of the extra batteries if you're regularly cycling them hard everyday - like I do. After some use, I'll say this.... This tool is a battery hog. To combat heat related degradation, the 6.0 battery has the highest discharge cells, specifically made for abuse in high powered tools like these. I recommend the XC 6.0 high output over all the other capacities as they have more punch and are going to have more usable cycles. Ultimately lower cost per use, which is important when trying to make $ as a business. Batteries aren't cheap. Neither is down time. That's my useful information besides being careful with these units, as they have phenomenal power. Very happy with my purchases, and would buy either of them again in a nano second.

A rinseless solution would be better for wiping down, really inexpensive solution to wiping down light dust like that. A better cleaner than just water as well.

That will work for most applications. I prefer a clean water wipe without any oils, waxes or other chemicals and fragrances.

I just bought both the 21mm and rotory units. Hoping to save time cutting all the bad paint here in Moab Utah. Plenty of heavily oxidated vehicles around, as our environment is harsh. I hope 5 6.0 HO batteries and three chargers can keep up all day. If not, I'll need to purchase more batteries and another charger or two. Thanks for the review, you helped sell me on these coming from a plug in 21mm ro. I won't miss the cords, thats for sure! Hope they are as powerful as everyone says they are!

Oh yeah, they have the power. One of the techs from the collision center just picked up a 21mm too. You should have plenty of batteries to run all day. I'm testing out the High Output CP 3.0 batteries, I got two - these batteries are way lighter at 595 grams each and makes the machine even more fun cause it's lightweight with the High Output CP 3.0 batteries. I'll see how long they last, but definitely a flatter profile to these batteries. The XC 5.0 batteries weigh in at 726 grams each and the High Output XC 8.0 is 1082 grams. Those Moab Utah cars are going to look real good. Thank you for watching.

@@JakeLesada thanks for the feedback! I feel I've made the right choice. I wanted Rupes, but just too spendy. I have the $, I just like getting good value, and I already have other Milwaukee tools. I have all of em, DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee. I'll report back with my experience and time with these machines. Thanks to you, I've likely got the best cordless machines for my application. Whats the specific compound and polish u use?

I'm a big fan of CSI Ceram-X polish. Yes, I've used Meguiars and Rupes and other brands, but CSI is my current "go to polish". I color sanded and polished the red 1968 Mustang, (shown in one of my videos) using a combination of Ceram-X polish and Rupes. The Mustang recently won best of show out of 400 plus cars.
