Jake & Marley | Wedding Bells (AU)

I told myself no videos, but I've been in such a Jarley mood lately and I finally got a little bit of spare time, so I quickly made this. It's an au story I've been thinking about ever since 5x11. Hopefully it doesn't look too rushed. As I've said before, I won't be uploading anything else for about two weeks, so please bear with me while I focus on school for a while.
Story:
Jake and Marley meet on their first day in their sophomore year. They instantly become very close friends. After a while, Jake realises he has fallen in love with Marley. Afraid of losing their friendship by admitting his feelings out loud, he writes it down on a calender for Marley. But Marley forgets to open it and she soon forgets about it. Then she meets Ryder. He asks Marley out and quickly after that they become a couple. Jake doesn't like it, especially since he still has strong feelings for Marley. Marley notices his hurt feelings, but thinks it's just because Jake doesn't like Ryder. She tries to talk and comfort him, to let him know that no matter who she's dating, they will always remain friends. Jake accepts that Marley is with Ryder and decides to be there for her as her friend, even though it still hurts him to see her with Ryder.
After a while, Ryder starts to feel uncomfortable with the close bond between Jake and Marley. He starts to wonder if there isn't more than just friendship between the two of them and confronts Marley about it. It turns into a heated argument and eventually Marley just walks away. After that Ryder starts acting strangly towards Marley. After she tells Jake about her worries, he sees Ryder in the choir room with another girl. He can't lie to Marley and tells her what he saw. Marley confronts Ryder and asks him if he has been cheating on her. His expression says it all.
Heartbroken, Marley goes to Jake for comfort. He does all he can to make her feel better, without letting his feelings for her get in the way. A few months later, Marley is going through her old stuff when she suddenly finds the old calender Jake gave her. She opens it and finally sees Jake's confession. When Jake finally decides to open up about his feelings, Marley responds saying she feels the same way.
