Jake Paul had no amateur career. He turned pro after 1 fight this is basically his amateurs with people's attention. But even then he is facing tougher opponents than most boxers did at Jake's stage. One guy said he rigged boxing match with "journeyman" when kid's being training for 3+ years now, doesn't really do anything else. I get the casuals are uneducated but boxing community is honestly toxic.

Although his opponent wasn't all that, for me I go off by previous performances. And this Jake looked quite smoother from his other fights, no happy feet like last fight, punch variation is getting better, body work. It wasn't much but hopefully next fight he'll fight a natural cruiserweight journeymen. Paul just announced his next fight will be April 26th.
