Let's address a few things here: 1) Jake Paul has been one of the worst people on (and possibly off) the internet for the majority of 2017. While I'm far from a "fan" of his, I do peek in from time to time so I can see what, if anything, has changed. Though his antics haven't, and probably won't, cease, I HAVE seen a little more focus on growth and maturity and less of the frat boy mentality from his on-screen persona. I can't speak on his off-screen persona, nor can you, because odds are you're not a close friend of his. You do not know his character. 2) RiceGum portrays everything that is wrong with new money in the USA through his on-screen persona, and apparently from his off-screen one as well, according to Banks. These kids get thrown into the spotlight, told they're this and that, told to dance, money falls from the skies above, and at any moment it can all be taken away. There's two ways to combat that...old money shows one way; investment. Lay low, invest in the betterment of yourself, your community, and growing your wealth both in currency and in relationships. New money is about showboating, always staying in that lime light by boasting your (rented) Lambo, and your (fake) Guccie/Supreme. Unfortunately, since THAT is what we see from people who were "just like us" a few years ago, we identify with it, and it leads kids to believe that they NEED that new $50,000 Supreme/Louis bag, or those Gucci flipflops. Flex culture and Hypebeast culture (synonymous) are the cancer in millennial generations. Clout Gang itself is all about flexing, showboating, making themselves look like super stars. Rice even said he flexes because he came from nothing in his response to idubbbz. That arrogance is what we saw in a 2013 Justin Bieber. Now look...he's no longer in the coveted lime light. People like Keem feed off blowing drama out of proportion, calling it "news" and making bank from it. We see the same in shit like Access Hollywood on NATIONAL television. Mix that flex culture with this drama culture, and you get a whole lot of shit wad kids walking around the fifth grade in fake supreme shit, fighting each other, not learning shit. All the while, the rich motherfuckers just keep getting richer. Just some food for thought. I've had some ups and downs this year, made money and lost money because I fell into that flex culture without knowing it. Surround yourself with people you aspire to be more like. Drop your deadbeat shit friends who won't like you unless you agree with their every word and make them feel like a god, and pick up some new friends...hang around 5 billionaires, and you'll be the 6th. Hang around 5 idiots, you get the rest.
