Would you bench Bo Nix if he wasn't playing well on Sunday vs. Buccaneers? Would it help him avoid developing bad habits or would it shake his confidence? Let us know what you think!

My dad was a Cardinals fan going back to when they were in Chicago, when he was very young. Through the years he always loved the cardinals wherever they went. Through the years he lost interest in football but always followed what the cardinals were doing. When the cardinals drafted Plummer though, his interest in football started picking up, and when Jake started his first few games my dad became an active fan again. Didn't matter how many picks he threw, my dad started watching a lot of football because he appreciated the person and player Jake is and was. And he appreciated the comebacks and what Jake helped do for the team he loved going back to when he first knew what football was. Now my dad hated the broncos for some reason, but i was a die hard broncos fan going back to when i figured out what football was. I loved John elway for the comebacks, the impossible victories, the throws you'd never see from any other player, not the picks or the Superbowl losses. So when Jake came aboard my dad loved Jake so much he'd watch broncos games with me. And he was such a believer in what Jake could do, he'd keep reminding me during the amazing games, that he wasn't surprised what Jake helped the broncos do because he saw all this stuff from when Jake was a cardinal. So if Jake signs off on Bo, we all better be patient. Remember elway tried to take a snap from under one of his guards once...

Good knowledge from Jake. I really think the Broncos can get this running game going by running out of spread formations more. I also think Bo can use his legs more, and SP can call some more designed runs by Bo. He had 1 designed run last game and got a good gain. That is it. You have to put pressure on defenses to defend everything.

Love listening to Jake! Great attitude during and after his football career. What a treasure trove of wisdom and experience. This was the most honest takes I’ve heard on this team in quite some time. I believe he’s speaking directly about Patrick Surtain II and Courtland Sutton specifically. Jake played with Champ. PSII does not make enough game changing plays in the game to justify him being crowned “best corner in the league.” Champ attacked the ball and had a “the ball is mine” mentality that I just don’t see with PSII. Courtland sutton is way too big and slow, we don’t seem to have the natural born leaders on either side of the football. PSII specifically needs to step up more, he just got paid alot of money to be getting called for PI and illegal touching down the field. PSII needs to chill on the crowning himself and go make some god damn plays.

Broncos need a culture change cause the fans generally don't understand football and have a fast food mentality. At least WAS fans study context and film. Broncos fans have no semblance of understanding context so far. They don't realize they're 85mil dead cap, etc. It doesn't click.

Plummer hit it on the head, this team has no leaders to hold the players accountable especially on offense. What is frustrating for me is a lot of the players came back and the offense is the same, so the team should be further a long to help out the rookie quarterback. I am also disappointed in Sean. Having a rookie quarterback throw the ball 42 times in Seattle…really? So frustrating.

Anybody acting like it's Nix's fault when there's literally no one around him doing anything right not named Vele... and Reynolds only recently stepped up last week... You can't have your rookie qb be the leading rusher and blame him without calling yourself an idiot first. It's not just on his footwork. So dumb. Ditto with WR's who are supposed to be lifelines for him, but instead who drop everything. The team has severely underperformed around him and you're just looking for a scapegoat. Payton needs to do play action, they need a run game. You need a TE who can actually catch and run the right routes. This team hasn't even been functional around him so far. He needs NFL level play around him to do well as a rookie qb, not subpar performances. Highkey need whomped upside the head (HARD) for even thinking it's ever just been on Nix.

Sounds like a benching would help Bo. Humble reflection. Listen to what Jake is saying
@MichaelPierce-hd1owАй бұрын
Amazing how fast all the rats run to hide behind the rookie QB to shield themselves from accountability. It happened to Zach on the Jets, and it is already happening to Bo on the Broncos. I bet the coaches here do not also rat out and hide behind Zach the way the Jets coaches did. Worst of all was the owner piled on. Completely reprehensible. It is easy to spot the cancers.

The narrative for a rookie quarterback is that usually, a tight end is their best friend. The thought is that rookie quarterbacks will have a more significant target share in the tight end position. These young players find comfort in the short area of the field in which a tight end will be running routes. Dulcich
