I just came back here after watching ENHYPEN's live performance of FEVER where jake had his mic fell off just like he did when he was a trainee, but this time, he did everything with confidence and ease. Seeing that bit of his performance reminded me of how much he's grown as an artist/performer. I'm so proud of how far he's come ever since he was a trainee. Truly an icon of growth.

So, now I get it, Jake did the global auditions for belift, and that's how he got in. He said he came to korea 1 week before the auditons to do them specifically. So it wasn't bighit auditions, cos they were in sydney a month later and by then he was already in Korea.

I think they were the BigHit auditions though because they said he was a trainee there. He probably attended the BigHit auditions in the Seoul location, usually for global auditions as long as you can attend the audition in whichever location you can participate. You don't always have to pick the location closest to you. Also just like Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon and Jungwon they all transferred from BigHit to Belift in order to participate on I-Land since I-Land was a survival show soley meant for Belift trainees.

He said he came to korea 1 week before to do this audition, so that's why I think so. In I-LAND about less than half were bighit trainees. Heeseung Sunghoon Jungwon Jay EJ were bighit trainees. also taeyong who has now left belift and also sungchul, those ones were short term bighit trainees. The others came through belift global auditions.

When most people gave up on him cos he had the lowest score on their first test, I couldn't give up on him cos I saw his zeal and passion, he made me believe that he can be better and that's a decision I will never regret. He's not my bias for nothing 👑✨🔥😎. I don't just stan him just for his visuals, I stan him because of his character and his growth. Now that he's together with his members, he makes everyone laugh easily or smile for a while. He took the "always give positive energy" seriously. 😅 His growth is what made me finally decided to stay and stan Enhypen. I can relate to him and his struggles but the difference is he overcome it. 🥲 The difference is whatever he keeps in his heart, he would really aim for it. You know I really fell for Jake's charms when suddenly one day I saw a video of a pretty boy smiling wide and beautifully ... My first thought of him was that it was one of the prettiest smile I've ever seen . And from then I started watching iland and I hate to say it but I only supported jake . There were times , I used to think that he won't be able to debut but I still supported him ... This also made me think once again that how much of a strong person is jake . He's so mentally strong that if I was in his situation during his time on survival show I might have decided to give up . But I learnt a lot from jake . He's younger than me but more calm and collected than I am . I'm so proud of jake . The growth he's shown after debut along with other members like massive growth . Jakey told us more during a recent vlive! He got in through Belift's global audition and came all the way to seoul! Then he became a belift trainee in 2019!!! Sunoo came through the same ones but the Korean version in Seoul, there were two rounds, Sunoo's was similar but a different round! He was really nervous and couldn't speak Korean really well back then, but he improved a lot as a trainee and during I-LAND!!

I was a fan of this beautiful human from day 1, when he walked down that path into the I-Land doors. There was something magical and beautiful about him. I’ve watched his journey and been there to witness his hard work and dedication to his craft. Jake is a Beast who has proven that he can do anything. He was the 1st credited lyricist/ composer.He is the English language translator and teacher for the group. Jake is the intro/outro king. He is one of the top vocalist. Jake is an amazing artist with a passion for music and a passion for performing. I am his number 1 fan and I will always support and love him with every piece of my being. I’m so proud and honored to be a part of his journey. Love you so much Jake Sim!

I watched I-Land only this year (2021) so I already knew how has going to debut as ENHYPEN. When the two first episodes came by and I saw how much Jake was having a hard time (and the worse grade from I-Landers) I was afraid he had been choosen to debut only because of his looks. I was so happy to see that I was wrong! We could see Jake growing from a "good looking guy who probably would debut" to and Idol in every way. I am proud so proud!

I know I'm super late to Stan Enhypen but I'm glad I am now. And Jake is my ultimate bias, when I saw their picture, Jake caught my attention first then I stalk them, watch their MV and videos. As I watch I-Land I don't know how many times I cried because of Jake , I'm so proud of him. I really like his attitude, his smile that can help to lighten up the mood, his positivity. He is indeed an icon of growth . Im not really into Kpop but I promised myself that I'll continue lowkey supporting ENHYPEN and of course JAKE 😍💕😍💕 (sorry bout I'm not fluent in English😁)

When I watch him it's make me to remember jin bts sorry I mention another group .Jin also like him when he started without any special part in their group but by hardworking make them the special one .Jin also label as a bad dancer a long time ago but until now he never mass bts performance and the world already know that bts was a great performer with their stage performance.even now everything he do,he will do it with passion.jin is my inspire and I Jake was really great in dance even he was not best dancer but being part of enhypen is totally amazing.enhypen group their dance was hard to follow I think 🙂wish for your successful future Jake.
