@isboum5 жыл бұрын
@@laynstevens Feng is amazing as a kid we are ok. But I'm asking myself what is the influence of those two old prodigy on the level of all the young prodigies that we see on internet? Back in time, at the age of Feng, Jake, for sure, and Taimane did not have all this inspiration at fingertips. And Jake's video, "while my guitar..", has started to democratize ukuleles videos. Not trying to find the winner, they are all amazing, but just saying that at least Jake had to make a big work in a more classical way. When I see the level I reached in 2 years of playing, and I started as an adult.. I'm sure I would have been a killer if I had discovered triple strum and more at 4 years old.

Roger T Groh Sorry but this was recorded in April 2019. They were performing at the Aina Haina Public Library to introduce the new ukulele lending program at that branch. You are right, however, in that Taimane did take lessons as a teen from Jake though she had been playing since the age of 5. Both are so enjoyable to watch and listen to!

If anything, like for reals, for reals, for freakin' reals, these two BRILLIANT & JOYOUS ukulele geniuses are the ONLY 2 islanders that I'd sacrifice anything & anybody (including my own kids) to see in concert before I kick the coconut shell in this lifetime! 😂 And I ain't kidding either... E makua'i fa'akau lava kamaiki ile makeki e maua ai se selegi e fa'akau ai gi tickets ouke alu ouke ka'a ile concert ale ko'alua lea. They've inspired me and got me to play the uke during that infamous global pandemic. They inspired me and it's been a year now since I started teaching myself to play. These 2 are my peeps at heart! I've never seen them in person yet but always checking to see when they're coming to my neck of the woods. And thankfully, I just saw a recent posting of an event coming up during my B-day month of August, 2021. YAY!!
