I'll be unboxing the 2009 Hot Toys figure of Jake Sully.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

Got him also on my shelf, found him purely by coincidence for pretty cheap on ebay (brandnew but box was heavily damaged) but the figure was unharmed. Hot toys tends to be really a hit-or-miss, but boy did they nail him! Just some tiny complaints of mine: I think the tail is a little to short and I would prefer fully rooted hair. All in all the amount of detail is incredible and Im still soooo salty that they didn’t do Neytiri!! But well, Neytiri will get a 2024 release and I already have her on pre-order Concerning the grenade belt: Yes the clips can be opened, but its delicate and I recommend using a pair of blunt tweezers. Also the clip/bracket thingy is meant to go on the pole at the base, its meant to hold Jake at the hips to provide more stabilization Btw do you plan to get some more Avatar stuff in future? I really enjoy such reviews

Not yet. In 2009 Hot Toys only did Jake Sully, but now with The way of water, they are making a new version of Jake and also Neytiri
