Also as I am sure you are aware, there will be a tomorrow, it just won't be business as usual. In any case, as soon as I can, I am getting tf out of this country. I will literally not be staying around to see how this turns out. A lot of people said they would leave if he won ... but nobody really thought he would win and so nobody left, however I am actually going to leave and I believe some others are as well. There may never be a WWIII, no nuclear strike, and no mass destruction, but it only takes a few seconds for it to happen and in a few seconds lives can change permanently. No one ever thinks 'something' is really going to happen to them and for most part really dramatic things don't happen to people, but America is a problematic country as it is and this is just as good a reason as any to leave.

I was a pretty regular watcher of the Colbert Report so I know what you mean. I'm referring to the Late Show specifically. He seems to get tongue tied and not able to think of something witty or funny to say.

Aj Meyers well the difference between Colbert and Late Night is that Colbert’s character was MEANT to make the guests uncomfortable and to interrupt them. That was the joke. Colbert, the real person, seems to struggle with when to let celebrities talk and when to talk himself. Interviews like this Tapper situation work out well because he just let Tapper talk. But even the bit with the apple was awkward because he wanted to get to the “bit” he wanted to say. So I think that Colbert works when the guests have enough charisma to work with him. But if he has someone with less charisma, someone he has never met before, or someone who doesn’t have much to say, he gets awkward and weird.
