Jake - we saw you play guitar alongside Ricky Skaggs twice in the Franklin Theatre and man was that fun to watch and listen to...absolutely killer.

I am going to try, but my left hand doesn’t always work very well. I sure do miss our lessons.

Can you make short video about your right arm technique please ? Do you play from wrist or elbow? Do you rotate your forehand ?

Jake teaches this technique in a way you'll understand really well - get a private lesson with him.

@@LibbysBluegrassVideos seems like you took lessons from him, may be you tell us?)
@LibbysBluegrassVideos2 жыл бұрын
@@user-dq6mn1ce6v Not like he could tell you! 😊 It's a mix of arm movement and wrist rotation, letting your wrist lightly brush the bridge pins but not anchoring in any place. But I don't have it mastered like he does!

Does learning other instruments help with overall musicianship on one instrument

Also how much faster are you than Ricky? Lol

I think it definitely does! I play 5 instruments and usually what you learn on one can be applied to others.
