Not sure about Thicket Elemental because even though it gets 2 free creatures into the game most of the creatures in the deck are better off kicked than casted for free. Also I think that Skyclave Relic is just as good if not better than Everflowing Chalice because of its indestructible and the fact that it can be used for colored mana (but you could just use both to maximize your potential mana)

Good video. Definitely gave me some ideas! I build a deck around him primarily around 1/1 counters. Put a bunch of kicker spells in too I had laying around, but THEN I thought "Wait X and a bunch of +1/+1 counters? Sounds pretty hydra to me." I actually wanted to make a hydra deck before, but thwy wouldn't be enough for an own deck, so I put them in here and made the deck a +1/+1-Counter, Kicker-X-Cost-Deck! It's a real patchwork, I still have to properly test it, but the one game it played, was incredibly fun! Even won through 53 Squirrels!

I truly hope you finish the 3 ways w all the lair walking dead characters. So thematic and cool to see you do those , especially w such thematic commanders. I know the controversy , but this is a game first and foremost and having a tech for the commanders shouldn’t be a sign of condoning or opposing the lair itself , but just showing the playability of the cards as commanders. My two cents. Keep up the great content , and I’ll catch ya on the flippity.

Honestly i don’t like the “unconventional jank” way that you call “fun”. Any unconventional build IS appreciated in my book but not to the point where the deck becomes completely garbage.
@JakeandJoelareMagic4 жыл бұрын
That's fair. For Strong and Mean, I focus primarily on strategies that can be used individually or combined to build a competitive version. Fun is intended solely for that: fun. Sometimes it's a Tribal build, sometimes its RIVER DECK BABEEE
