Kindred is the errata of tribal. It would be like saying interrupt and instant are 2 different types in the grave.

I’m not sure why they felt the need to change this. I’ve never considered the word tribal offensive and never heard it used in a derogatory way. Maybe I’m just sheltered or something but in my opinion if the word tribal offends you then you’re just looking for something to be offended by 🤷🏻‍♂️ ultimately I don’t care but I think it’s weird. Apologies to everyone who is offended that I’m not offended by the word tribal 🙄

I believe tribal was reworded to kindred so is not two different types. Right now max is 9 for Ghoyfs.

You’re incorrect about Kindred and Tribal counting for separate card types. Kindred is the new word for the Tribal type. Just look at the new versions of Crib Swap and All is Dust.

I thought Goyf only counted card types? Not supertypes? Instant, Sorcery, Creature, Artifact, Enchantment, Land, Planeswalker, Battle? Wouldn't Kindred/Tribal just be a supertype?

God Eternal Oketra LOVES Silverquill Lecturer! Demonstrate with a creature that bounces a permanent (ex. Kor Skyfisher), and not only do they not get as much value out of the creature (unless they're an ETB-centric deck), but you also get to bounce two things, letting you create even MORE Zombie Giants by recasting said creatures!
