Watching this after our appointment of Ranieri until end of season as manager and then consultative role. Seems like a stop-gap solution to appease the fanbase, a bit like when Mourinho was sacked and fans were angry, so he was replaced by club legend De Rossi, who despite his managerial inexperience couldn’t be argued against, perhaps similar to Lampard and Xavi for their clubs. De Rossi was sacked only few months after a THREE YEAR contract extension. Although I wasn’t a fan of Juric’s management, (to say the least), I think most managers would have struggled in such a tense environment between fanbase and various hierarchies within the club. Whilst I agree that De Rossi’s sacking was premature ahead of a home game against Udinese, .(Juric’s only great performance out of his 12 games to my memory, which included a disappointing1-0 away loss to Elfsborg and a 5-1 thrashing away to Fiorentina) think that the frustration comes with how it contradicts the aforementioned contract extension AS WELL AS strong summer backing, De Rossi got players he expressly wanted such as Dovbyk.

Pirola and Monterisi absolutely illegal in this game. Fabbian turns out to have great development skills. I would have seen Lucca in place of Colombo/Wind trying to get advantage of Soule and Dybala's crosses into the box. I always like to create a team with national players and all of these are must buys. Other great young italian purchases not so famous you could have missed would be: GK Carnesecchi (some games goes for 5m, others to 60 depends), Turati, Caprile (best on FM23) DF Kayode, Valeri, Ruggeri, Baschirotto (try this guy!), Delprato MF Prati, Esposito (try all 3 brothers but especially Francesco Pio ATT), Pobega (cheap), Lipani (young), Bamba ATT we struggle a little bit but Francesco Pio Esposito, Tresoldi (half german) are the best ita attacking wonderkids, Lucca (a beast!) obv
