Imagine SuperGirl wearing the Greatest American Hero Suit. Now with the suit her arsenal of power would increase!!!! The power to beat up her enemies while being invisible the entire time is a huge advantage!!! Now with her Super speed she can hit a opponent with heat ray vision from many different positions and her opponent would not even be able fight back!!!! With the power to multiply herself at least five times now the bad guys have to fight five full powered Supergirls at the same time!!!! She can even make herself as big as King Kong!!!!! The problem with Kryptonians is they're so strong it's hard to create a proper villain. I mean one punch would obliterate a human into stardust. It's not "realistic' to just have a guy fly 20 feet after being hit by Supergirl. They'd explode on impact

I really don't think it is hard to create a proper villain (unless you're a writer at CW). You can either simply write someone as strong as a Kryptonian, or someone who has "hard counter" powers (such as a person who can use a Kryptonians super-hearing against them with sonics - just came up with that off the top of my head) or simply write a person who manoeuvres situations where there isn't a fist fight. How about a genius gang leader who always commits crimes whilst simultaneously engineering a dilemma where innocent people are at risk, but who gets cocky and ends up trying to use Supergirl in a crime, allowing her a chance to outsmart him? I just came up with that off the top of my head, which probably means I'm far, FAR too good at this to be on a CW writing team, where "fastest man alive stands there whilst criminals run off" and "supergirl forgets she can laser vision a person from orbit" are apparently impossible NOT to accidentally write into your scripts.

Jon Cryer who is best known for Two and a Half Men did a complete turn pulling off Lex Luthor in this series. He actually exceeds all expectations in this role based on his past history as an actor. I guess we all know Season 6 is the last season Melissa Benoist is under contract and she won't renew so the series is coming to an end, but at least they can plan for it and end it the way they want to. I find it interesting as long as the Arrowverse is going, none of the shows lasted as long as the original WB/CW show called Smalliville which went 10 seasons on its own with a lot lower tech special effects than these shows have.

YOU bring up a HS physics Query from 1968! In your movie the Martian alien falls from up high ( yep how many floors?) S G has to fly downwardly surpassing gravity to save him. Cute done with CGI effects. ok Back to 1968, the question on the physics mid term was:: How FAST must Superman go to save an infant that falls PAST him on the 10th floor outer ledge where he was standing?" This does start a ton of queries about the action. First most evident. WHY cant S M HEAR the baby crying before it passes him.. doppler effect. Second, how to save an infant in free fall from 10 stories UP? Does he "merely" dive down and grab infant (ouch), or does he meet its downward velocity wrap his cape around infant and Land on pavement, or crush thru pavement and return via sewer? TOO many variables to give a "simple" physics reply to a HS mid term exam. it might take 2 pages of discovery to even try to define all the physics involved. MINUS our viewpoint of super powers. SO to my reply way back in 1968 was the question was totally irrelevant . The problem was brought to Principals office later, and returned as striken from the exam.
