Some very important FACTS about

I know that I haven't uploaded any videos in a while and I apologize for that. The fishing hasn't been great in Virginia Beach this year and it just seems like everyone is making fishing videos on KZbin these days. I have already made hundred of videos showing fishing in Virginia Beach but I wanted to make this video to show some very important facts about offshore wind. The offshore wind project off Virginia Beach has really just completely industrialized our ocean in the last year, killing whales and marine mammals, but for why? What benefit does offshore wind give us? The answer is NONE. OFFSHORE WIND IS A FINANCIAL SCHEME. This video shows what you arent seeing from land with Virginia's offshore wind farm.

You will be fishing that windmill structure for the rest of your life! Best thing that ever happened to fishing from va beach! Look at the islands in the chesapeake bay they built? Where does everyone fish? On the bridge or islands. Nobody fishes the wide open nothing. All that rock,is a fish magnet! YOU are now paying $3.50/month for those wind mills as is all dominion customers. The fishing will only get better and better! Enjoy!!!

Imagine if the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel were 200 miles long and had 200 islands.... that's what is happening here. This isn't a good thing. It's literally killing our Oceans and we are paying for it. It's amazing how jist a few years ago everyone was all for saving the whales, now it's to hell with the whales, lets pay a bunch of foreigners to put up windmills.

@@CharterFishing so stop fishing them, get out of there! Secret is out, tons of fish there already. How in the world are they affecting whales? All that rock is mined in Virginia! I am all in! Build baby build!

@aubreyansell1019 lol. How does it harm whales? I do t know maybe you should Google the permits offshore wind had to obtain from noaa that allows the harm/take of whales to begin construction. The secret is out about the windfarms? Ever since construction of the wind farms started, fishing in the vicinity of miles around the wind farms has been much worse... but what would I know as a professional fisherman who has fished here my whole life? I would love to hear specifically how this wind farm is the best thing ever because it seems to me that the propoganda around the wind farms is nothing more than trying to get stupid, uninformed people to feel good about this because they are "saving the earth" with windmills. If you can make one logical argument as to how using millions of gallons of diesel fuel to construct these windmills and a good portion of the components are plastics that will end up becoming microplastics polluting the ocean, I would be open to hear it... but for now, all this just sounds like propaganda from offshore wind supporters.

@aubreyansell1019 also, if offshore wind isnt harming whales and marine mammals, why has offshore wind donated millions of dollars to environmental organizations and organizations that would even conduct necropsies on dead whales along the East Coast, like mystic aquarium? Care to explain the ongoing "unusual mortality event" that noaa is using to describe the hundreds of dead whales that have occurred in the same timing and vicinity as offshore wind?

I'm not sure whether it is hilarious or sad that someone claims they are all for offshore wind because they are against big oil companies. Do you not realize that this fleet of massive ships is using thousands of gallons of fossil fuels per day? How do you think all that rock is mined then shipped? Diesel fuel. Those windmill blades are made of plastic foam and fiberglass reinforced plastic, then shipped across the ocean on ships that burn diesel fuel. Each one of these windmills contains thousands of gallons of lubricating oil. So don't lecture me about the evils of oil on my gas powered boat. That is downright just stupid. Do you realize that these windmills, not the structuctures that support them in the ocean but just the part above water, that part takes over 18 years of production at 90% to produce enough energy to pay for itself? But the co.ponents all all decommissioned to be replaced after 10 years, and in most cases the output is 30-40 percent. These windmills will never pay for themselves and leave a massive carbon footprint. Offshore wind kills whales and birds. Offshore wind pollutes the environment by adding microplastics to our oceans. And you talk about the jobs it creates? How many LOCAL jobs were killed by stopping the coal industry? Don't me how great this is for me. I have seen it first hand, I'm informed, and everything you have said is a lie.
