nooo because their bond was already strong when they were still on iland but i think it got stronger now that they both made it and will continue to grow and become stronger as they will spend a lot of years together. it's just that we barely see their affection to each other now as both of them have gotten closer to the members too, but im really sure that they are more close offcam, remember the iland cams, there are so many jakehoon moments on iland cams than the actual show. the fact that jake claimed himself as sunghoon's bestfriend twice says it all. i wish those mfs will stop questioning jake's affection to his bestfriend just because he doesnt show it oncam a lot, jake has a different way of showing his affection to sunghoon than to the other members. and sunghoon has always been so open about his affection to jake, and i think that's so precious :(( him always choosing jake 😭 soulmates, and no one or nothing could ever change that. sorry i just miss jakehoon 😭😭

Sometimes i feel that Jake is just shy to express his feellings towards Sunghoon on camera.
