Really love this car. I was really sad to see some of your other vehicles go but was really happy to see that this one is still around.

I still see lots of these wagons locally, but finding one in this condition is rare to see and most of them have the 4 cylinder engine.

This was my first car when I was a teenager. It was given to me by my grandmother as a birthday present. She was the original owner and it had 100k miles when she gave it to me. The engine kept overheating and a bunch of other issues happened so my parents ended up selling it after a year of us owning it and I’ll never forgive them for it 😭 this car was amazing and I miss it everyday

God it's beautiful. I wish my 2004 Outback was in that kind of shape. But the northeast US has been hard on it over the years. The transmission just failed at 195,000 miles and I just paid $1200 to repair it.

@@benrodlockamy Yeah man I found a really good Mechanic working out of a garage he rents nearby. He found a used transmission with 80K on it and slapped it in for me. Even fixed the front CV axle and part of the exhaust as well. Came to $1284 but since he quoted me $800-$1200, he didn't make me pay more than $1200.

Honestly this car looks much better than a 500 dollar car and it looks too good for it to be a beater. I would take good care of it if i were you especially as you got it from your grandparents. One day you will be missing them and you will miss this car too. If i grew up with that car i would definitely not use it as just a beater and i would not lend it to any “friends”.

Looking at the sedan version of this. A bit rare and I used to own one. 265k miles though for $3500. No rust only 2 owners. Seems a bit high but so is the market.

I have a black one. Got it for 1500 in 2018. It was in bad shape mechanically and cosmetically. But the engine is mint. Burns no oil. However the transmission isn’t good because the Einsteins never changed the fluid in 16 years. It’s got heavy rust and dents. I wish I could go back to 2002 and buy a new white one.

my AC doesnt work. I also have a pin size leak on head gasket which I need changed, My sunroof windows do not work well, and am afraid to open then as they may not close back. Now I found I have water coming in somewhere from the right front cowel and it really pours in, I had to sponge it out then get a vac to remove all moisture. How can that be fixed. I bought this vehicle in 2011 and it really has been a great car I dont want to see it go, but if I cant get it fixed at a reasonable price, will have to let it go to someone who will take care of it. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!

What is the procedure to replace a crankshaft pulley on a 2002 Subaru Outback Legacy H6 3.0
@fastinradfordable
@fastinradfordable Жыл бұрын
It’s super duper easy. You take off the 4x 10mm bolts And use a screwdriver to pry the little cover off. Then 19mm bolt in the center. They aren’t particularly tight. Then the pulley slides right off. The seal is then exposed in the cover. Pry out the seal. Press in new seal. Ect I have several videos of the build from the block to the valve covers Steve !

Jackeman, I have this exact Subaru Outback model. I have four questions that my local Subaru dealer in my area doesn't even know the answer to if you can believe it. On the dashboard: To the left of the steering wheel Their are three buttons the middle one is cruise control and the one to the right of it is rear defogger. What is the button to the left of cruise control for?? What does the VDC button do? Does the side mirror defogger work on both mirrors? How do you get the rear wiper to not be intermittent?. Thanks, Mike
