The little white specks in the closeup are not in the guitar itself, they are tiny bits of cardboard and/or styrofoam from the shipping, easily cleaned off.

Wow!!! Looks like my Squire Vintage Modified Thinline Tele in natural ash which was $400 this is pretty much the same thing for $150. Im really about to buy one of these in sunburst. Great demo and review.

There is a theory that I tend to see logic in that Donner is turning so much profit on their pedals and electronics sales that this maybe the very reason they can afford to sell these guitars of considerably high quality at ridiculously low prices.

Nice work! Beautiful instrument, sounds very good. I got one, not disappointed. Handles rock, jazz and funk well. It came with flatwound strings gauge 10, which sound good for jazz applications. 😊😊😊

Prolly gonna need to change the strings, get some tuners, and graphtec nut and string trees, cheap upgrades to make it a really nice guitar with stable tuning. Really nice looking axe!

Got my DJC-1000 today from their summer sale and am surprised it has the most ambient 60 htz hum of any guitar I own. It mutes with physical contact to any metal part of the instrument and/or with the volume pot at full gain. Did you find that on your instrument or do I likely have one with a bad pot or solder joint? I don't want do a lot of work on it, but I can replace a pot. I bought a Donner DTC 100S tele at the same time for a gift and actually prefer it... and even with the single coil PuPs, it has a lot less hum.

$219 Cdn Amazon right now. Dec. 22/22. You make that thinline sound like a "must have". I expect it to arrive in January/23 with all the normal budget guitar shortcomings. I fix all that at home. It's to handsome and too pleasing sound to not get it. Thanks the thorough review!

5 months later, an update. I did get my Donner DJC1000S from Amazon. It was shipped inside its gig bag and together the 2 items rattled loosely within a very soft sided cardboard box. The box was very damaged as was my new guitar within. I immediately returned for refund. Now I see they're available again for $24 less. $196.00 Cdn. Oy oy. I still lust for it, but Amazon packages them so as to guarantee breakage. For it to arrive intact would require heavenly intervention. I'm not sure I've earned that in this life.
