as a former trader joes employee, let me tell you it was the WORST job ive ever had. I only worked there over the summer and the amount of effing karens i got and middle aged moms screaming at me was crazy. im a highschool senior, (still a minor too may i add, im 17 years old) and when i asked for less hours because of school starting and i was doing private tennis lessons 3 days a week (they had me working 5-6 days a week for 8-9 hours) they said they couldn't do that because we were "understaffed" bitch we had more employees then our managers knew what to do with. everyone who read my comment, DO NOT WORK AT TRADER JOES!

my first job was at a flynno’hara’s (private school uniform store) and i’d much rather work at trader joe’s, there is no karen like an angry private school mother type of karen… and it was the only flynno’hara’s for MILES so EVERY PRIVATE SCHOOLS MOM AND DAD AND THEIR WHOLLLEEE FAMILIES would come in like 2 weeks before their schools started and act like it was our fault that they did things last minute. plus all my coworkers and I were 15 and getting yelled at by these people 😭
