This was a labour of love but by far this was my most favourite figure to makeover...

Just wanted to say a proper WELL DONE to you on this and others of your magnificent customs. I myself have been on a custom roll of sorts lately, and have watched a lot of videos and then remade a lot of my own figures, smaller than this guy, 12 inch scale mostly, but along these lines, almost all Batman related, and am currently down due to a lung infection and can't do any work. While I've been convalescing, your videos have been THE most entertaining stuff online or anywhere else for me during this time. They are all just great! This one especially, as your love for redoing these figures comes through in every step. Your ideas and shared info is both invigorating and challenging, but it is never dull and I can only thank you for sharing SO MUCH of how you do all this. I hope to do something like this very figure on the smaller 18 inch version, as the Affleck BVS Batman has become just about my favorite Batman ever. He and the 89 Keaton. So, all that said, I hope I can find the cloth and the materials and the time, to try and do this myself. But until then, THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this kind of custom work! The pattern of the fabric in the torso area is a little bit of...cos the pattern came out different from left and right area...but overall its one crazy make over to the action figures...keep up the good work dude...love the work

For the stubble on the face, you should have used a toothbrush and “flicked” it with brown or black paint using your finger to rub against the bristles of the brush. It would have created a finer mist.

I just want to caution when using Sharpies on customs, as the ink can turn purple on you and discolor other painted areas touching it. Sealing it can also sometimes make it worse. Otherwise another great piece.

That is a fantastic upgrade to the look of the figure. The subtle color and texture variations make the Batman suit seem so much more real than the basic plastic (which is by no means badly done, the sculpted-on texture is great, but it's just too monochrome to look good at this large of a scale).

Only gripe is that the muscle definition doesnt really shine through, this ends up looking like the hot toys V1 batfleck. But the use of textured fabric really elevates this figure.
